Our bags, baskets and planters are hand woven by rural women in Kenya. Many of the women are subsistence farmers who use weaving to contribute to their income in dryer periods. The materials used, (Sisal in the Kiondo and Palm in the Kikapu) are relatively drought tolerant and suited to the arid regions where the women live.
